Professional wrestlers capture the imagination and emotions of their fans when they are in the ring, but they are real people behind the scenes.

Unfortunately, the former WCW Lodi wrestler suffered a serious health condition, causing him to suffer a heart attack, but we now have an update on his condition.

Lodi, a former member of Raven’s Flock known for his time in WCW, suffered a heart attack in June during an independent wrestling match. It was a terrifying scene and no one wants to relive that performance.

In a recent interview with Developmentally Talking, Lodi remained in good spirits, despite her recent health problems.

“We were wrestling, and I had a heart attack, and four days later, went in for a triple bypass,

and they realized that they missed two blockages, so I ended up having a quintuple bypass on June 21.”

He plans to continue wrestling professionally despite his heart attack. He also defeated his opponent in that match, Lucky Ali, who he said should have been on.

Lodi noted that they regularly train together. He recounted the heart attack that led to hospitalization and that it was a scary time. He seemed to have no problem recounting the experience as he went along.

Lodi spent most of the 11 days recovering in the hospital and plans to not book wrestling events until January 2024, which would give him time to get back into wrestling shape.

He also mentioned his rapid healing abilities, comparing them to that of a starfish and how the surgeon complimented his healing process.
