We reached out to an official member of the creative team to ask if there was any news about Ronda Rousey. We were told “Ronda ain’t being discussed”.

During the SummerSlam season, the creative team learned that she would end up at SummerSlam, but was “still under contract for a while”.

It was noted that it was unclear whether “a while longer” meant“a month or three years.”

We’ll have to see what Ronda Rousey does next in her career. She may be retired and that’s definitely the impression she gave everyone from the Instagram post.
