WWE announced today that they have released 32-year-old Superstar who teaming up with Carmella on SmackDown Live in the past year.

James Ellsworth was released after three-years with the company, it has been confirmed.

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar James Ellsworth. WWE wishes Ellsworth the best in all of his future endeavors.

Released JAMES ELLSWORTH the company back in 2014 after a number of years on the independent circuit.

Ellsworth went onto to have storylines against AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose before allying himself with Carmella.

Earlier, the WWE releases five Stars. This one is coming after the release of WWE Superstars Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae.
