Brock Lesnar’s journey to becoming a professional wrestler is filled with different professional goals. Before entering the world of professional wrestling, he explored various fields, including doing demolition work for a construction company and trying his luck in the NFL and UFC.

WHY BROCK LESNAR FAILED TO JOIN THE MILITARY

One notable endeavor was his National Guard aspiration to join the National Guard when he was seventeen years old. However, his dreams of working with explosives in the local artillery supply unit were thwarted by a genetic condition that left him with red-green color blindness. As a result, he was assigned a desk position, something he didn’t think about when he applied.

Despite this setback, Lesnar admits that he worked for nine weeks. The National Guard has had a positive impact on his life and made him a better person. Brock recounted his efforts to join the army in his book “Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival”.

“I was seventeen years old, on my way to Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. … The only problem was that I entered the Army to join the local artillery supply unit. We are working with red and green coded explosives. That’s what I want to do. But after an eye exam revealed I was red-green colorblind, I was assigned clerical duties. Can you see my fat ass sitting in front of a computer screen all day? That’s not exactly what I had in mind when I signed up. Luckily for me, I didn’t pass the typing test, and that was the end of my Guard career.”

After leaving WWE in 2004, Lesnar began a career of an NFL football player. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but was eventually released. Although his time in the NFL was short-lived, it allowed him. exploring paths other than professional wrestling, which was his main focus at the time.

“I know some people didn’t believe me back then, but getting cut was no
big deal for me. I never considered myself a football player. I’m just trying to do something other than pro wrestling. I just want to change everything in my life. I’ve come a long way in my NFL courtship.”

When he returned to WWE in 2012, Vince McMahon initially refused to re-sign with Lesnar, but The Beast won back by winning again having delivered F5 to John Cena in WWE RAW This event marked the beginning of his second successful attempt in the world of professional wrestling.
