WrestleMania 40 Strategy For CM Punk Finalized

WWE has major plans for CM Punk at WrestleMania 40, and those plans have been obvious to some for a while.

Punk’s return at November’s Survivor Series significantly increased merchandise sales and increased interest in WWE.

He was involved in a feud with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, with both wrestlers mentioning each other on television and even sharing posts on Raw.

CM Punk has already signed up for this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match and has a chance to get his desired championship match at WrestleMania.

He is widely expected to win this match, giving him a chance to fulfill his lifelong dream of being in the main event of WrestleMania.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that the plan for WrestleMania is a match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

Rollins currently does not have a match scheduled for the next Royal Rumble event, and even if he does, he will likely not compete due to the injury sustained in his Raw match against Jinder Mahal.
