Wrestling/WWE News: Prominent Wrestling Promoter Passes Away — Chris Jericho Pays Tribute On PAINFUL DEATH

A former WWE Superstar confirmed his in-ring return with a new gimmick while another fan-favourite teased a possible return in a recent interview.
Elsewhere, two pioneers of the wrestling industry passed away.
Chris Jericho posted an emotional tribute to CMLL owner Paco Alonso, who has passed away at age 67.
Jericho spoke on how Alonso believed in him, and helped him get a break in the infancy of his career in Mexico.
Paco Alonso was regarded as one of Mexico’s most prominent wrestling promotors. The third generation promotor was the grandson of company founder Salvador Lutteroth.
CMLL shared the following message on social media today.
Alonso was the head honcho of the oldest pro wrestling organization in the world – Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
Alonso took over the reins of CMLL from his uncle Salvador “Chavo” Lutteroth Jr. in 1987 and steered the promotion to become the leading company in Mexico.
Chris Jericho put out a tearjerking video in which he paid tribute to Alonso.
We at wrestlingnewsplus.com covey our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of Paco Alonso.
