WWE Announces Final Decision On Chelsea Green

WWE had a major problem with their Women’s Team Champion when Sonya Deville was injured.

Since her injury, Chelsea Green has made it clear that she will win both titles and that she even wants to audition for a new partner. WWE had other plans.

Piper Niven appeared on WWE RAW this week, and she took that extra belt from Chelsea Green. Then both departed as champions.

It’s a big move, and rather abrupt, but it’s also clearly official.

WWE quickly updated their roster page. Now, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are listed as WWE Women’s Team Champion. It didn’t take long, and now we have new champions.

It seems that WWE does not want to host another tournament and the match to determine the new partner of Chelsea Green does not take place.

It also seems like a segment was all they needed to determine that Piper Niven would replace Sonya Deville, who actually replaced Carmella as Green’s partner.
