In related news, The Rock was reported to possibly not be in action at WrestleMania 32 due to a filming contract he reportedly signed with an agency. According to the report, the agency conditioned The Rock to do no professional wrestling for fear of injury.
The Rock was also said to be set to completely quit wrestling for filming. According to The Rock during an interview, “It kind of shook me a little bit because wrestling was all I knew at that time.” Then when he was asked about his switching of career from wrestling to filming, he said, “If I made the transition into acting, I wanted to be great. I knew going in, the cards are stacked against me.”
