Pro wrestling viewership serves as a barometer of fan interest and support for each promotion. With another week of events coming up, there are some interesting numbers.

WrestleTix aggregates viewership numbers for WWE and AEW television shows and provides insight into the popularity of these shows. Once again, WWE surpassed AEW in viewer ratings.

Topping the list is WWE Smackdown, which held its event at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Impressively, the show drew 7,805 fans, making it one of the most attended wrestling events of the week.

The enthusiasm of the Ohio crowd that filled the arena to see their favorite WWE Superstars in action was evident.

Meanwhile, WWE Raw had a huge presence at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The event was a great success with 7,308 fans attending. RAW has always been WWE’s flagship program, and the high turnout in Pennsylvania confirms its continued popularity.

On the AEW front, Dynamite put on an exciting show at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

While the attendance of 4,413 was slightly less than a WWE show, it shows AEW’s ability to attract a loyal fan base to its events.

AEW is gaining momentum in the wrestling world, and the West Coast location was no exception.

As both WWE and AEW continue to entertain fans across the nation, these attendance numbers reflect the popularity for each company.

We are leaving 2023 and entering into a new year very soon. Only time will tell if those attendance numbers will stay consistent in the year to come.
