WWE Did Consider Changing Randy Orton’s Entrance Music

Randy Orton has returned to WWE for the first time in 18 months. While many things in WWE have changed during that time, his entrance music has remained the same.

There seems to have been some discussion about changing that. After his return, Randy Orton signed with Smackdown and has Roman Reigns in his sights. It’s possible we’ll see Orton change his WWE entrance music.

Fightful’s paywall reports that WWE officials have told them that “Randy Orton’s theme song may have recently been considered to be changed or adjusted.

Changes to Orton’s song “Well Theme Melody’ was reportedly under consideration. – the famous “Voices” song that we have known for a long time. We hear that Orton and management discussed possible changes before the show, which was ultimately canceled.

People Brennan spoke to said that this was not a new version of Rev Theory, with “no music from above and limited lyrics.” It was also reported that at the end, WWE felt it was “important to use Orton’s original theme, at least for Orton’s first few appearances, for the sake of familiarity.”
