WWE legend says Hulk Hogan is ‘the only thing worse than 2020’

The Iron Sheik’s social media account is a goldmine of rants – and Hulk Hogan is often the punchline. This week was no different, as the WWE legend’s official profile took aim at his former in-ring rival with an insult we wouldn’t really wish on anyone, particularly after the year we’ve had.

In his signature all-caps style, Sheik tweeted: ‘THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN 2020 IS HULK HOGAN. (sic)’ Ouch – that really is brutal.

However, wrestling fans will know this is pretty much par for the course when it comes to the Iron Sheik and Twitter.

He even tagged folk legend Bob Dylan in a recent cheap shot, which referenced the icon’s track These Times They Are A-Changin’. The post on his account read: ‘THE @thebobdylan THE TIMES ARE A CHANGIN? OR THE TIMES ARE WORST THAN THE JABRONI HULK HOGAN? F**K THE TIME’.

And it’s safe to say these jibes aren’t going anywhere, because it’s even in his daily planner. Earlier this month, he wrote: ‘LIFE HACK: I SET THE DAILY REMINDER IN MY CALENDAR TO REMIND ME THAT HULK HOGAN IS A F***ING JABRONI. IT WORKS 100% OF THE TIME.’

The Iron Sheik and Wendy’s came together in unity and trolled the Hall of Famer, becoming best friends in the process and throwing another curveball into the mix for 2020.

Sheik’s official account starting the exchange, simply asking the company: ‘HELLO @wendys WHERE IS THE BEEF? TALK TO ME BUBBA. (sic)’

It didn’t take long for the restaurant’s social media team to response, and they immediately brought up the Hulkster. They replied: ‘Hey bubba, the beef is in our cheeseburgers which are great unlike that jabroni hogan (sic).’

Shots fired indeed – and Sheik was clearly delighted with the response.

He asked: ‘WENDY BUBBA DID WE JUST BECOME THE BEST FRIENDS? (sic)’ Wendy’s replied: ‘You know it bubba.

The real respects the real.’ Sheik clearly agreed, as he tweeted: ‘AMEN. YOU SAID IT PERFECT WENDY BUBBA. (sic)’
