WWE has just confirmed the sudden death of former WWE Women’s champion Chyna who gave up the ghost Thursday.

Before her death, the former porn star has been down for a pretty while; in and out the hospital almost every week on cosmetic surgery related issues. Hence, she regularly took medications for anxiety and sleep deprivation.

However as per this moment, no one could say exactly what caused her death neither could anyone say the exact age she was when death caught up with her but one thing was sure, the said 46-year old former WWE Women’s champion passed away on April 20, 2016 and her dead body was found at her home in Redondo Beach, California.

But some quarters are insinuating that her death could be due to overdose. Hence, WWE issues the following statement as touching her death:

WWE is saddened to learn of reports that Joanie Laurer, best known for competing in WWE as Chyna, has passed away.

A physically striking and talented performer, Chyna was a true sports-entertainment pioneer. Not only was the Superstar dubbed “The Ninth Wonder of the World” a founding member of the groundbreaking faction D-Generation X, but she also holds the distinction of being the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble Match and the first and only woman to win the Intercontinental Championship.
