BROCK LESNAR may lose the Universal Championship to Braun Strowman. Lesnar faces Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia on April 27.

According to Give Me Sport, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claim that the plan is to crown Reigns the champion at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in front of a more receptive crowd in Jeddah.

But there is a chance WWE will postpone The Big Dog’s coronation and have Strowman dethrone Lesnar instead. Strowman and The Beast have had some epic battles at No Mercy last year and the Royal Rumble three months ago.

That doesn’t mean WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has given up on Reigns yet but management might have The Monster Among Men hold the title due to his growing popularity among the fans.

The ex-RAW Tag Team Champion’s dominant displays also make him a legitimate threat to Lesnar’s reign and a believable star who could overthrow the UFC legend.

Reigns hasn’t been able to win over the fans and gets booed in every arena he competes in. Lesnar was expected to leave the wrestling promotion and rejoin UFC after WrestleMania 34 when his contract ran out.

However, the five-time world champion retained the title after brutalising Reigns and signed a new deal with WWE.

The specifics of his new contract are not yet known but there is still a chance he could fight on the Octagon again.
