No Mercy has just come to pass and what was expected did manifested in its real form. The only disappoint fans had was that the WWE SmackDowwn women champion Becky Lynch did not defend her title due to the fact that she sustained an injury.

Obviously, No Mercy met up to its expectations and as unfortunate as some things went, Becky Lynch, go one on one with Alexa Bliss, a undisclosed injury to Lynch has nixed that match at the upcoming pay per view and has also put her current reign as Woman’s champion in jeopardy. In fact, the injury may cause her to vacate The Woman’s title as early as the next edition of Smackdown Live.

According to Dave Meltzer who earlier reported that, Becky Lynch won’t be wrestling at No Mercy against Alexa Bliss as scheduled, as an undisclosed injury will prevent her from being able to compete inside the squared circle.

More so, her case was quite similar to that of Finn Balor who won the WWE Universal championship title after his debut but was forced to give it up due to injury sustained during his match against Seth Rollins at Summerslam. Differently, Sasha Banks was never forced to vacate her Raw Woman’s champion after suffering a back injury, she did lose the belt to Charlotte at Summerslam so she could take time off and recover. With that being said, it is far more likely that WWE will choose to take the title off of Lynch at this point.

Furthermore, WWE could go with anyone from Alexa Bliss to Nikki Bella to fill the role of Woman’s champions while Becky recovers. What do you think will happen? Should Becky Lynch vacate her title on Smackdown live next week and go recover, or do you think the injury isn’t that serious? Well, whichever may be the case of the status, something must be done but we strongly hope that the injury is not serious to make her relinquish her tile. What do you think?
