It has always been teased that WWE would be having one of their finest superstars back to the ring but recent report and interview indicated that the return has been cancelled as the superstar seems not be interested with the return anymore.

In a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of SI.com, Rey Mysterio showed up to talk about his career and more. During the interview, he was asked about a possible return to the WWE.

Reacting to this question, Rey put forward and said that he is very comfortable in the position he is in right now with Lucha Underground due to their schedule and style.

He said that he doesn’t think there will ever be another company like Lucha Underground due to it being very unique, exciting, and fresh.

More so, we can deduce from his speech that he would not want to return to the WWE any moment from now.
