According to TMZ Sports, former WWE Champion passes away barely 24-hours ago; he died owing to terminal stomach cancer.

TMZ Sports reported that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka passed away at age 73 after being given just six months to live in December.

His daughter, WWE Superstar Tamina Snuka shared a sweet image to Instagram following her father’s passing.

Snuka has been down with stomach cancer and related infections; hence charges filed against him for the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend, Nancy Argentino were dropped earlier this month..

Reports revealed that WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 and won championships all over the world, including the NWA’s Mid-Atlantic territory.

The irony is that the death of Snuka was expected owing to the recent decision to drop charges against him. Word was that he wouldn’t have to live long again, and just about 14-days afterward she passed away.

This must be really touching and painful for the family; hence top stars have sent their condolences to the family as seen below.

The WWE posted a statement to its website on Sunday. “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy ’Superfly’ Snuka has passed away,” the statement reads. “Snuka is regarded by many as the pioneer of high-flying offense because of his Superfly Splash from the top turnbuckle. His dive off the top of the steel cage onto Don Muraco at Madison Square Garden as hundreds of flashbulbs went off will forever live as one of the most memorable moments in WWE history. WWE extends its condolences to Snuka’s family, friends and fans.”
