Not quite long after the WWE Summerslam, it was announced that there would be a fatal 4 way match involving Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Big Cass contending for the Universal championship title.

Last night on the WWE Monday night RAW in Houston Texas, the event of the match came to pass and the unbelievable happened. Kevin Owens became the new WWE Universal Champion with the help of Triple H. Triple H came from nowhere and turned the tide in favour of the 32-year-old, by charging Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins with vicious Pedigrees.

Triple H has not been seen in the WWE for a fairly long time since after his loss to Roman Reigns at the WrestleMania 32 event. His return to last night RAW was indeed surprising and reported stated that Fans hated the whole mess that happened including the returning of Triple H and the win of Kevin Owens. So many had thought that Triple H would help his friend Seth Rollins but their expectations was turned around. The event went off-air while Kevin still celebrated in the ring.The Houston crowd chanted “You deserve it” in unison. Both Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley were left dumbfounded by the events that unfolded in front of their eyes.

Within a few hours of the historic edition of Monday night Raw in Houston Texas, it has been reported that Kevin Owens will have his first title defence at WWE’s Clash of Champions PPV against the Architect of the WWE, Seth Rollins. Kevin Owens is to defend his newly won title against Seth Rollins and this may eventually turn Seth Rollins the Universal Champion. He may end up defeating Kevin Owens.
