Sasha Banks has said she is heartbroken that she will be unable to share WrestleMania this year with WWE fans as they aren’t allowed to attend the event at the Performance Center due to the coronavirus.
Earlier this week, WWE announced that WrestleMania 36 would be moved from Tampa to their Performance Center in Orlando and that the show would still take place on April 5.
However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, fans will not be able to attend the event, meaning this will be the first time in WWE history that a Showcase of Immortals event takes place without any fans.
Sasha Banks has recently sent her sympathies to WWE fans on social media, as she said it breaks her heart that fans won’t be able to attend WrestleMania this year.
The Boss said on Instagram: “It honestly hurts to know that fans, whom a lot of save their money all year to go to wrestlemania, won’t be able to attend. The idea of a parent having to tell their child that they won’t be able to go breaks my heart. Fans make wrestlemania week!
“All of the events, axxess, they aren’t just there to watch the show, they’re apart of it. But in the end, the world is a scary place right now, and priority number 1 is everyone’s health and safety.
“So on April 5th, wrestlemania will happen, and we will do our very best to put on a show worthy of our fans. I wish you were there, but I will perform as if all of you are, because it’s what you deserve like a boss. #wrestlemania.”
Banks also issued a similar message on Twitter about fans missing out on watching WrestleMania 36 live.
It breaks my ❤️ to know that fans won't be able to attend #WrestleMania They aren't just there to watch the show, they're apart of it! But priority #1 is everyone's health. So on April 5th we will do our very best to put on a show worthy of our fans. Its what you deserve.

So far, seven matches have been confirmed for the show, with an eighth match, a Last Man Standing match between Edge and Randy Orton, expected to be added by this time next week.
Banks currently isn’t booked to have a match at this year’s WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see if she is added to the card over the next few weeks.
