Long before the WWE Battleground was held there have been teases from various angles most especially when the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns was suspended. Roman Reigns was given a 30 days suspension for violating the WWE wellness policy and when the suspensions did elapse, he return at a live event and get it on with Seth Rollins who attacked Dean Ambrose after Dean defeated him.

Rollins reigns made at the ring, at first Seth tried to attack him but he could not get him, then unfortunately to him, Seth received a superman punch from the guy before a spear. Reigns then collected the belt from him and handed it to Dean Ambrose who was the real champion of the event that night. The remarkable appearance of Reigns was indeed a cheer up for fans because they then knew and believed that the triple threat match would hold.

More so, at the triple threat match, which was at the WWE Battleground, Dean Ambrose defeated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to retain the WWE Championship title on Sunday night. And again, in the Shield reunion match, Ambrose landed “Dirty Deeds” on Reigns and pinned him clean to win.

Furthermore, it is revealed that with Dean Ambrose headed to SmackDown, and Reigns and Rollins going to Raw, WWE’s re-vamped second show will keep the title. After the match, the SmackDown locker room came out to celebrate with Ambrose. The win was indeed to the joy of the SmackDown team because even before the match, we saw Shane McMahon telling Dean Ambrose the importance of bringing the belt to their brand which is the blue SmackDown brand.

Interestingly on the same event, Randy Orton also returned at the pay-per-view, took a shot at Brock Lesnar concerning their match at the WWE Summerslam. And another exciting moment was Enzo Amore, Big Cass and John Cena defeating The Club in a six-man tag-team match.
