The Shield has been a very powerful stable in the WWE they were known to be a set of champions. The Shield is a tag team which was made up of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose who is the current WWE champion.

This tag team separated when the architect of WWE Seth Rollins betrayed the team and since then, they have all been single fighters and all have had the opportunity of becoming the WWE World heavyweight champion and even now, the world championship belt still rest with one of them Dean Ambrose.

In several occasions, we have assumed that the Shield will reunite again but afterwards, our expectations are thrown down and we see the trio doing their things as singles not as team. Last time ago, Roman Reigns was suspended for violating the WWE wellness policy and when he returned he had to face his former tag team members in a triple threat match to contend for the WWE Championship title which Dean Ambrose later won.

This week on the WWE Monday night RAW was a very tough one as reported by multiple sources and after the event went off air the WWE Universe saw Kevin Owens teamed up with Jericho and attacked Reigns. The duo went on to beat Reigns down when Seth Rollins hit the ring to make the save. Owens and Jericho retreated from the ring in a scene that was reminiscent of the S.H.I.E.L.D. days. In a shocker, Rollins’s efforts weren’t appreciated by Reigns as he speared Rollins and celebrated in typical Roman Reigns style to end the show.
