It has been teased on several occasions that Shawn Michael will be coming out of retirement and possibly showing up at the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble.

This has been the earnest desire of fans who wants to him wrestle one more match in the WWE ring. It was recently reported that during an interview with 105.3, Michael was asked about his Royal Rumble and to their greatest surprise, the WWE Hall of Famer stated otherwise.

It was so shocking to hear Shawn Michael say: “I don’t know if anyone cares that I’m from there [San Antonio], I think the WWE has happily moved on from me.”

The report of Shawn Michael return started when AJ Styles posted on his website AJSTYLES.ORG an image of him and Michael standing with a Royal Rumble picture. Anyway, the return of the legend might indeed come to pass as it has been reported lately that Shawn Michael would be making a secret entrant to the ring. If he does eventually, word is that he would be facing Styles — along dreamed match. See tweet below:
