When Becky Lynch won her first woman’s title at the Smackdown exclusive Backlash pay per view, few fans thought the moment would last very long. In fact, many fans didn’t even think Becky was really going to be a factor in the six pack challenge match for The Smackdown Woman’s title and that it would be Nikki Bella that ultimately came up with the belt.

WWE’s reasoning for this was simple. The company needed a good placeholder until Eva Marie could return from her suspension and claim the title for herself. With that being said and Eva Marie now planning to film a movie in the coming months, it now appears that WWE is holding off on that plan and Eva Marie will apparently not be back anytime soon either.
