WWE Referee Wishes To Change Position In The Company

Published

on

WWE is a very large company and you can end up working in many different places on the payroll. However, even those with on-screen experience can find success in niche fields far from the spotlight.

In 2010, Ryan Tran joined WWE as a referee.

After he trained to become a wrestler and gained experience in various other promotions, he joined WWE. The company offers many opportunities and Tran is ready to take advantage of them.

During an appearance on the BetQ podcast, Tran was asked what his future holds in WWE.

He would like to continue as a referee, but he could also imagine working for the company in other ways.

My goal is to go possibly another ten years. After that, I would like to still be with the company. I do enjoy the beyond the scenes work.

Sometimes, I feel I don’t have to be in front of the camera. If I can be the behind the scenes person, putting things together and making sure that the show goes on right.

I like the video side, the audio side, the lighting. All that stuff that goes behind the scenes, I enjoy that stuff.

I do enjoy working with my co-workers that way and learning those things. In the entertainment business, it’s so much fun, there are so many things to learn.

That’s another thing my dad told me, ‘when you’re doing something and learning, you have to learn multiple trades.

Never stop learning because you never know what they may need you for.’’

We’ll have to see what Ryan Tran can do next in WWE. For now, he’s enjoying his position as a referee, but he knows it won’t last forever.

Only time will tell what the future holds for WWE. 2023 has certainly been an interesting year, full of unpredictable moments.

As TKO Group Holdings continues to lead the company in a new and profitable direction, it will be interesting to see what everyone involved does next.
