Alexander Wolfe signed with WWE in 2015 and started with the SANitY faction before being called up to the main roster and competing on SmackDown.

Wolf left the group and joined NXT UK, where he joined Imperium. He was eventually released from WWE, but WWE appears to have scrapped plans to reunite the faction.

The former WWE superstar was banned from the group after being defeated by Killian Dain on NXT Television.

Wolf was one of six wrestlers and two referees fired from NXT due to budget cuts in 2021.

SANitY were one of NXT’s most high-profile acts, but their momentum began to wane shortly after they emerged onto the main roster.

Alexander Wolfe revealed on the Developly Speaker podcast that WWE had plans to reunite the factions, but they never materialized.

“There was actually a plan to re-form SAnitY .

The plan later was they would separate me from Imperium, because I would be the weak link.

And then in that time also, they would re-form SAnitY with Killian Dain … and Eric Young, and they would win the NXT tag team gold.

And in that case, they would go on to feud with Imperium, and I would join again SAnitY . …

We would have a feud against Imperium, and then we would go back to U.S. NXT.

Alexander Wolfe has also expressed interest in returning to WWE, but has been more cautious about signing his contract.

Either way, fans will always be disappointed with how WWE handled SANitY in the end.
