WWE Starts Booking Of Nxt Heatwave Special

WWE’s NXT franchise is far from over at this point, and they’re still hosting special events on the USA Network.

Two weeks from now, the NXT franchise will bring a heat wave and we’ve got some big fights for their next special episode.

Ilja Dragunov and Trick Williams had an intense in-ring segment this week during NXT. Williams wants to make it clear that he’s not an aide, and Ilja Dragunov will give him a pretty good fight at Heatwave.

In addition, Wes Lee and Dijak will participate in a 1st title match next year.

The winner of this match will have the opportunity to take the NXT title from Carmelo Hayes at Heatwave.

WWE is paying a lot of attention to NXT, as they want to ensure that viewership stays high for their next round of TV rights negotiations.

They also want to beat AEW Dynamite on the leaderboard.
