Shanica Knowles, Beyonce’s cousin, has revealed that she and husband Jay Z have weathered a number of “silent separations” in the past.

The recent album, Lemonade, released by the singer, has brought the couple’s marriage under fresh enquiry as the lyrics strongly suggested that Jay Z’ has again cheated on his wife.

Shanica told heat magazine that “Beyonce has been encouraged to write about the affair rumors to help her deal with it all and help her determine whether she could work through everything or have to end the marriage”.

She revealed that this has not been easy for Beyonce who is doing all she could to save her marriage.

Shanica further said “this has been a long process and I’ve heard they’ve had to deal with silent separations and splits over the past few years, but Bey is praying this album will actually save her marriage.”

According to Shanica, the singer is “learning to forgive” having been dealing with several issues of marital unfaithfulness by her husband.

Shanica stated further: “She’s been through the intense anger and I think she’s now learning to forgive Jay.”

Beyonce’s new release, Lemonade, contained suggestive lyrics of betrayal, she attended the annual Met Gala with Solange, her sister; Jay was not seen on the red carpet on Monday, all of these only help to fuel the split rumor and Shanica’s comments is well understood.
