The WWE seems to be beset by injury-prone talents and it has a long list of the affected talents. One of the more common is Sting.

This wrestling Icon has recently been diagnosed with a neck problem, otherwise called Cervical Spinal Stenosis. This is expected to pull Sting into common-sensical retirement.

The 57 year old wrestler still has some interest in battling The Undertaker, which originally was the fight that should have ended his professional wrestling career. Doctors have advised him against continuing in the ring and an early retirement would safeguard his life.

He regrets the fact that his dream may not materialize and opines that it is best to avoid the blade rather than obstinately jumping into fatality.

When it was time to talk about his retirement, the wrestling legend said: ”Oh no, it’s an easy one to answer: Yes. If I had my way, yes, of course. I would have loved to have done one more WrestleMania and I would have called it quits at that point. The Undertaker match — that’s what I wanted to do.”
