Popular WWE Superstar dropped a shocked when he spoke about his retirement and possibly doing wrestling again after bowing out of the industry over a decade ago.

About thirteen years ago, WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin hanged his wrestling boot in the air, yet his name is still fresh in the mind of wrestling and sport fans worldwide.

Steve Austin was a guest on Sirius XM’s Opie with Jim Norton on Wednesday morning, and the host of the show, Gregg “Opie” Hughes, asked “Stone Cold” couple of questions including if he would love to return to the ring again and Austin categorically said he’s done with the ring and that he has nothing else to prove there.

“I’ve got no business (being) in a wrestling ring, I had a good time doing that job. You know, the last match I had was in 2003, and it took me about three years to get it out of my system because I loved that business – that was what I wanted to do with my life, and after about three years of hunting, fishing, drinking, and making bad decisions, I decided that it was time to move to L.A. and start doing some work out there. I’m done, I’ve got nothing to prove.”

A while ago, precisely in June last year, Austin registered the impression during his live Steve Austin Show podcast with Paul Heyman that he would still do wresting and that would be a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32.

But that hope was short lived as Austin came forth few days later to re-state that he has no plan to return to the ring again.

So he’s not expected for WrestleMania 32; no, he’s not — at least not as a wrestler! He’s said recently that he would be there but if function, he wouldn’t talk about for now. Well, let’s see how it goes….
