Daniel Agger the former defender of Danish spent * years at Liverpool before heading back to his first club Brondby after a little problem with his then boss Brendan Rodgers.

The 31-year old defender who retired after collapsing on the pitch was reportedly heading FC Copenhagen on the Brondy team bus when a mixture of arthritis pills and a caffeine drink meant he failed to remember any of the first half

Agger backed out after collapsing Not less than 30 minutes into the game. Shortly after the incident, Agger announced his retirement.
Daniel Agger has appeared in 232 kop matches, scored 14 goals.

After announcing his retirement,

he said

“I have taken too many painkillers in my career. I know it, and that is bad. But I’ve stopped doing it now.
“I’m done with this circus.”
