A confirmed report reaching us has indicated that another WWWE superstar is to face a strict sanction for misconduct and drug abuse related crime. Jeff and Matt Hardy cannot be easily forgotten as a result of the drug scandal they faced with the WWE back in 2002 which resulted in Jeff leaving the company before he was later considered for resigning in 2006 until his release in 2009.

The WWE does not take the crime of substance abuse very lightly as it is against the wellness policy of the company. Despite Hardy’s earlier sanction, his second wellness policy violation was in 2008 when he was given a 60-Day suspension which cost him the chance of winning the WrestleMania24 debut, a major setback to his career

The WWE according to its official press release explained further pointing the section 15 of the wellness policy web page under “Penalties.” That ;
“Any WWE Talent, who leaves the WWE for any reason with a first or second violation on his/her record, will maintain said violation count on his/her record from the time he/she departs WWE until the time he/she returns, if ever, to the WWE.”

The company never failed to provide a forgiveness program giving the affected wrestler another chance to turn a new leave, it was mentioned in the official statement that;

“Upon successful completion of the Redemption Program, the WWE Talent shall request the PA, with the approval of the Medical Director, to delete one (1) of the two (2) violations of record for such WWE Talent. In the event the PA determines in favor of the request, the violation record for such WWE Talent will then be amended to reflect the reduction of a violation leaving the WWE Talent with only one (1) violation under the Policy.”
