Goodbye to WWE Divas Brie and Nikki Bella…

As WrestleMania disappears in the rear view mirror for the WWE, this time of year is when the company does their version of spring cleaning as underperforming superstars are wished well in all of their future endeavors.

While there are plenty of superstars on the roster that need to be sent on their way, the Divas division will be cut even thinner with the announcement of the Bella Twins leaving the company this month.

As previously reported, WWE Divas Brie and Nikki Bella, seem to be on their way out of the company. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that WWE sources are now confirming both Brie and Nikki Bella will be done with the company once their deals expire at the end of the month on Monday, April 30.

No news on why the Bellas are leaving the company or on their future plans have been revealed yet. We will keep you updated on the story.

This was a complete shock to read after reading several months ago that Vince McMahon was high on the Bella Twins and wanted to give them a big push on Raw and Smackdown.

Instead of being released from the WWE for poor performances, I think the Bellas left the company by their own choice instead of re-signing to likely pursue careers in entertainment away from professional wrestling.

With the release of the Bella Twins, the WWE could just shut down the Divas division as there is really no great challengers for current champion Beth Phoenix, unless the ones currently on NXT get called up to the show.
