Checkout Ridge Holland’s Current WWE Roster Status

There was an interesting development regarding the main roster status of WWE stars who recently appeared on NXT TV.

Under Triple H’s creative leadership, WWE’s core programming and his NXT brand have become more closely intertwined.

NXT wrestlers appeared on Raw and SmackDown, and main roster stars moved to NXT to rejuvenate their careers.

Ridge Holland’s departure from The Brawling Brutes in November is the latest example of this crossover.

However, Holland’s involvement in NXT differs from previous instances of main roster stars transitioning to the brand, as he competed in NXT’s live events, making such transitions relatively rare.

Holland competed in NXT live events, facing Joe Coffey on November 13 in Fort Pierce, Florida, and Trick Williams at another event on November 5.

By comparison, Baron Corbin, who joined NXT in June 2022, has only appeared in two NXT live events in over six months.

This differs from previous cases like former WWE stars Mustafa Ali and Dana Brooke, who never wrestled in a non-televised event while on the NXT brand prior to their release.

Holland is scheduled to face Kofi on January 16th on NXT TV, marking his first match since NXT Champion Ilya Dragunov was “injured” a month ago.
