Corey Graves Medically Cleared For In-Ring Return

Injuries are common in the world of WWE and professional wrestling, and often lead to early retirement.

Corey Graves is one player who has been out of the game for a long time due to injury.

Interestingly, Graves has already received medical clearance to return to the ring, so he is open to a one-off bout.

Corey Graves was an in-ring star in NXT, competing in matches every week. However, he was forced to retire in 2014 due to a concussion.

There were many moments after that when fans wondered if Graves would ever return to the ring.

Corey Graves, who has been a wrestler since 2000, showcased his skills in NXT and also won the NXT Tag Team Titles alongside Adrian Neville (PAC).

His last match was nine years ago at WrestleMania Access against Troy McClain.

Since then, Graves has successfully transitioned into his distinguished career outside of the wrestling ring.

In an interview with Steelers Takeaways, Corey Graves revealed that he has been cleared to return to the ring for a while.

I have a clean bill of health now, thanks. I actually got medically cleared a couple of years ago to perform in the ring again.

I flirted with the idea and am waiting for a potential opportunity if it presents itself.

More of a one-time thing like [Pat] McAfee has done – not as a full-time in-ring performer.”

Graves said he is willing to return for a one-off match, similar to what Pat McAfee has done in the past.

It should be noted that Corey Graves has previously said he has no intention of returning to the ring.

We’ll have to see if the Savior of Evil wrestles again. In fact, it’s nice to know that he now has that option
