Current Plans For WWE’s War Game Match At Survivor Series

Published

on

WWE is preparing for Survivor Series next month and there is already information about how they will book the WarGames.

Needless to say, fans are in for a fun ride as the annual Thanksgiving show approaches.

Wrestling News plus exclusively reported that WarGames will return this year. The plan is to have the match at Survivor Series.

The Survivor Series 2023 event is scheduled to take place at Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois on November 25.

Sean Sapp noted behind the Fightful paywall that the current plan for WarGames was introduced on SmackDown this week.

“Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis’ promo was intended to be a reference to WWE’s plans to run War Games, which was the plan as of a few weeks ago. We’re working to find out if that’s still the active plan.”

This will most likely see RAW vs. SmackDown one way or another, but we’ll have to see how they book things.

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis’ little segment on SmackDown this week was a big hint that they’re heading in that direction. Pearce even referenced the famous double cage match.

We’ll have to see how WWE books WarGames. Survivor Series sold out and the company added even more seats to meet demand.

We exclusively reported that we reached out to ask about current plans for the big Survivor Series double cage match. We’re told the company has already made a decision on who will compete in this match.

There’s no point arguing about it, because the plan is locked.
