Dolph Ziggler Appreciates Ryan Amidst CM Punk Beef

CM Punk’s time in AEW continues, as does the controversy surrounding his name.

The former AEW world champion is at odds with some people he doesn’t want in Collision, and it looks like Tony Khan will fulfill CM Punk’s wish.

Dolph Ziggler seems to have hinted at a behind-the-scenes incident involving his brother Ryan Nemeth and CM Punk at AEW. After all, the latest update was that CM Punk was annoyed by a handshake.

The reported matchup between Ryan Nemeth and CM Punk took place at a June 21 Dynamite taping, caused by Ryan’s earlier tweet calling Punk “the sweetest man alive” following the comeback commercials by Punk.

In a timely move, Dolph Ziggler accepted “Hunk Gratitude Day,” which was a nod to Ryan Nemeth’s “Hollywood Hunk” moniker, and shared a tweet that many understood to be a subtle dig about AEW’s CM Punk, or perhaps a timely show of support for his brother amid recent developments.

There will be a ticking time bomb in AEW, with CM Punk’s support, as the tension behind the scenes is sure to explode.

With so many big events coming up for the company, behind-the-scenes issues are the last thing they need at the moment.

Ryan Nemeth was asked to go home after participating in AEW Collision.

CM Punk apparently had some pretty aggressive words with him backstage.
