Triple He’s Reaction To The Rock Calling CM Punk On stage

In 2017, scenes from the movie Fighting with My Family about Saraya and her family were filmed at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California after Monday Night RAW.

The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions is one of the production companies behind the film. He was also on this RAW episode and spoke to the crowd after the show ended.

There was a moment when the crowd started chanting “CM Punk”. The Rock then called CM Punk but the call went unanswered and he left a voicemail instead.

The Rock was completely unaware that WWE was engaged in a legal battle with CM Punk at the time.

During a keynote on The Masked Man Show, Seven Bucks Productions Senior Vice President Brian Gewirtz recalled Triple H’s amusing reaction when The Rock called out CM Punk.

“The only time it ever kind of maybe qualified (possibly having to cut someone’s microphone) is when we were shooting Fighting with my Family at Staples Center and The Rock was in the ring and they’re chanting CM Punk and Rock.

he didn’t know what’s going on with the whole Punk-WWE backstage stuff and he pulls out his phone and is like, ‘Hey! What if I called CM Punk right now!?’

And then Triple H turns to me back in Gorilla and was like, ‘Someone wanna remind him we’re in a f******* lawsuit with this guy!’ And Punk didn’t answer.

He was b probably doing something else at the time and so, it didn’t really matter and I think it was more said — I think Triple H said it, kind of tongue-in-cheek. He was not legitimately angry.”

CM Punk is currently a mainstay on AEW television once again, but trouble has increased due to all the drama involving him again this week.

Either way, fans will never forget The Rock called Punk out of nowhere on that fateful day in 2017 and that’s what matters
