The Management of Chelsea as decided to discard all players not needed from the club following their poor performance from the previous season. Chelsea opted out in renewing the contract of likes of Radamel Falcao, Alexandre Pato and goalkeeper Marco Amelia, the club made this known in their website on Friday.

Radamel Falcao had been struggling to find the spotlight since venturing into Premier league. The Colombian Superstar only managed to find the once in 12 appearance for the club, siting in the bench with thigh injury.

While Pato who joined the club from Corinthians on a January transfer last season also suffered the same fate as Falcao as he had failed to adapt to life and of play in England, Scoring once in two appearances.

Finally Italian Amelia who is aged 34 years, barely featured in the first team as throughout His Campaign with the club, which he joined in October 2015 on a free transfer. The three will be out of contract with the club and will be free to leave.
