Eric Bischoff Bets His Hairs On CM Punk’s Return To WWE

CM Punk left WWE years ago and then got into a terrible legal battle with the company’s doctor, Chris Amann.

His return to professional wrestling saw him sign with AEW, but Tony Khan eventually released him after another backstage implosion.

His WWE Return rumors continue to circulate these days, but Eric Bischoff would bet his hair that it won’t happen.

Rumors of CM Punk’s possible return to WWE persist, although there are many reports denying the possibility.

Hidden clues about Punk’s return are dissected by fans every week, but that doesn’t mean Punk is back. On a recent episode of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff expressed strong skepticism about the possibility of CM Punk returning to WWE.

According to Bischoff, his instincts suggest that a reunion of the Second City Messiah with World Wrestling Entertainment is highly unlikely.

The former SmackDown executive then upped the ante with his co-host, Conrad Thompson. He once shaved his head for a pro wrestling storyline, but he came up with a real-life bet of betting his hair on Punk not returning to WWE.

Co-host Conrad Thompson asked Eric Bischoff if he was ready for CM Punk not to return next year, all the way until the end of October 2024, when the podcast is taped. Bischoff was willing to make this bet with Conrad.

Eric Bischoff then made it clear that, “I’m only taking this bet if you can make it clear that you do not have any inside information.”

Conrad confirmed that he did not have any information, and Bischoff said, “clearly I don’t either.” So, the bet is on, and one of them will have a shaved head by Halloween 2024.
