Ex WWE Executive Uncertain About CM Punk’s Future At WWE

CM Punk’s return to WWE is still rumored, although there are many reports that it will not happen.

However, fans can still see teases of Punk returning to WWE everywhere they can. With all the evidence available, Eric Bischoff still doesn’t believe that Punk will return to WWE.

CM Punk’s firing from AEW has led to countless rumors about him. Although Impact Wrestling and NWA are the only two companies to publicly or internally express interest, fans remain hopeful that Punk’s return to WWE is just around the corner.

This trend is unlikely to stop, especially when Survivor Series will take place on November 25 at Allstate Arena in Chicago.

During a recent episode of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff, who was the general manager of SmackDown, expressed strong doubts about CM Punk returning to WWE. At this point, Easy E’s instincts told him that Second City Savior’s return to World Wrestling Entertainment was not going to happen.

“I don’t, I just don’t. Look, I’m not 100% convinced, because it is all about business and WWE historically is able and willing to get beyond issues, personal or otherwise.

Warrior comes to kind. Eric Bischoff comes to mind.

A whole bunch of us where nobody would have imagined that they would go to or get back into a WWE ring ever again, only to be surprised.

So, I’m not saying 100% sure, but my gut tells me, ‘no.’”

Eric Bischoff went on to say that WWE is making a lot of money from merchandise, live events, and breaking records everywhere. At this point, they don’t need CM Punk to return for any action.

Stranger things have happened, but it’s unlikely that Punk will ever make a comeback.

Wrestling News plus exclusively reported that there are no ongoing discussions between WWE and CM Punk. He held out his hand and his offer was rejected.

WWE didn’t need him during its boom and he wasn’t booked for Survivor Series in Chicago.
