Ex WWE Manager Glad WWE Severed Ties With Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle became a controversial name in WWE due to his antics outside the ring and fans thought it was only a matter of time before he was released.

That’s what happened last week when Riddle was fired by WWE. From the looks of it, one former WWE manager is actually happy that WWE cut ties with Riddle.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, several attempts were made to calm the situation with Matt Riddle before things got tense at JKF Airport.

We’re also told Matt Riddle appeared to be “heavily drunk” at the time.

Matt Riddle officially confirmed his departure from WWE last week, and he almost immediately received interest from other wrestling promotions after his release.

His release remains a major topic of discussion to this day.

While speaking on the latest episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Dutch Mantell spoke about Matt Riddle’s departure from WWE and made it clear that he is really glad that WWE cut ties with Riddle.

“I’m glad WWE kinda, again, I’m not glad he lost his job.

But I am glad the WWE said, ‘Hey man, we’ve given you every chance in the book.

It’s just not gonna work out. You’re more trouble than you’re worth.’ And they told him and let him go.”

Footage of Matt Riddle’s drunken antics at JFK airport recently surfaced.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that Matt Riddle was involved in more than two dozen fouls that led to backstage tempers.

Riddle also hinted that something new is coming soon after his WWE Release. It remains to be seen what will ultimately happen to Matt Riddle.
