Ex WWE Star’s Royal Rumble Surprise Appearance Hope Fades

The Royal Rumble will take place on January 27th and you never know what will happen on the show.

However, there is a possibility that the former star player may decline to participate due to the possibility of an upset.

In an interview on Ring the Bell, Gail Kim stated that she is not ready for the 2024 Royal Rumble event.
But anyways, anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling.

“First off, I don’t think they would ask me [laughs], which is okay. You saw Mickie and what a great relationship. Scott D’Amore, as our leader in IMPACT, has done some amazing things. Whatever happens happens.”

Gail Kim has officially retired from regular competition, but has continued to compete in sporadic matches since his retirement, including 10 Knockout Day at the IMPACT 1000.

With Royal Rumble season approaching, Gail Kim was asked about the possibility of a similar appearance as she reflected on IMPACT/TNA’s previous collaboration with WWE on Mickie James’ Royal Rumble appearance.

Let’s see who will surprise fans at Royal Rumble 2024. We don’t know whose name will be called, but Gail Kim isn’t holding her breath.

As for Gail, we’ll never know if she’ll ever wrestle in WWE again, but her current situation with TNA Wrestling might not allow for that.

Mickie James also entered the Royal Rumble as the Knockouts Women’s Champion, so anything can happen in WWE.
