Ex WWE Writer Calls Out Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is certainly one of the best female WWE Superstars right now, and her stock continues to rise with each passing week.

That being said, Ripley was criticized for acting like a clown this week on RAW.

This past year has been an incredible year for Eradicator, especially since she joined The Judgment Day.

After all, her becoming WWE Women’s Champion only further cemented her status as WWE’s top female star.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Ripley was at ringside as Finn Balor and Damian Priest defended the Undisputed Tag Team Championship against the Creed Brothers.

All hell breaks out when Ripley and Ivy Nile get into a scuffle. Ivy hoisted her Women’s World Champion onto her shoulders, showing off her strength.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo mentioned in an interview about Legion of RAW that this spot greatly hurt Rhea Ripley’s credibility with her, made her look like a clown, and should never be compared to Chyna again.

“If you didn’t think it was a comedy act, all you had to do was look at that spot with Ivy and Rhea Ripley when she got Ripley up on her shoulders.

Can you imagine Chyna doing that? That’s what people don’t understand. After watching that tonight, don’t ever compare this girl to Chyna.

Ivy’s got her up on the shoulders, her face is fully exposed, Rhea is doing all this like Wilma Flintstone rather than just cracking her in the face.

Don’t ever make the analogy with Rhea Ripley and Chyna again. You can watch all the times Chyna was on RAW, and never once did she act like a clown.”

Ivy Nyle will challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship on the first day of Monday Night RAW.

So it remains to be seen how she will perform against Eradicator.
