Ex WWE’s Star Court Hearing Date Postponed

Teddy Hart achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the youngest player to earn a developmental contract with WWE in 1998. At the time, his future in professional wrestling seemed incredibly bright.

However, since then, a series of legal issues have tarnished his reputation. It was recently announced that Hart’s court date has been postponed until next year.

As Wrestling news plus reported on July 15, Teddy Hart was indicted on multiple drug-related charges.

His arrest took place in Brevard County, Florida, and included charges related to marijuana, steroids, and MDMA.

The incident occurred on July 14, 2023, at approximately 11:09 p.m., when Officer Gonzalez observed Teddy speeding down Cheney Highway in a 2022 Ford Mustang.

Teddy made an illegal left turn and officers stopped him near 3500 Cheney Highway. As Officer Gonzalez approached the vehicle, he smelled the distinct odor of burnt marijuana.

The actions of Teddy and his passenger, Brenda Sean, aroused suspicion, and concerns were heightened when a container of medical cannabis was found partially hidden in the glove box.

Officer Gonzalez called for backup and instructed Teddy and Brenda to exit the vehicle. Further suspicions arose when marijuana was found lying in Brenda’s seat.

When asked about his medical marijuana card, Teddy Hart said he had one but left it at home, but Brenda refuted him. Determined to conduct a thorough search, Officer Gonzalez found additional unused marijuana that tested positive for high levels of THC.

Red pills and powder were also found in a black glasses case, which Teddy described as “his vitamin blend”, but tests later confirmed they were MDMA.

The situation further escalated when Officer Gonzalez discovered Teddy’s white fanny pack containing his American and Canadian passports, as well as bottles labeled with the anabolic steroids “Masteron” and “Testosterone Cypionate”.

Despite Teddy’s claims that he had prescriptions for these substances, Officer Gonzalez remained skeptical.

For those following this case closely, Teddy Hart was originally scheduled to have a hearing in court today on multiple drug charges.
