WWE To Revive A Distinct Match Type For Upcoming Event

Shinsuke Nakamura has been embroiled in a rivalry with Cody Rhodes in recent weeks. It all started when Nakamura started leaving cryptic messages for challengers.

When he attacked Cody Rhodes on RAW a few weeks ago, we finally realized who the message was about.

Both men tried to resolve their differences on last week’s RAW, but the match ended in a disqualification after Nakamura sprayed Cody Rhodes in the face.

It looks like this rivalry isn’t over yet, as the two will face off again on December 26th at Madison Square Garden, with WWE set to bring back a unique arrangement for their matches.

It has been announced that WWE will be bringing back the Texas Bullrope match for a match between Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura.

This match was special for American Nightmare, as it was also a regular match for his father, Dusty Rhodes, who faced Randy Orton in a Texas Bullrope match at the 2007 Great American Bash.

It will be interesting to see if this match ultimately yields a winner for the Nakamura vs. Cody Rhodes rivalry.
