Gunther To Miss WWE’s Elimination Chamber Events

GUNTHER is the WWE Intercontinental Champion and his reign shows no signs of slowing down. That being said, the Imperium leader was not booked for WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. There is a very good reason for this.

GUNTHER works for WWE on a visa, and the bureaucracy surrounding this document also has its limitations.

Looks like they are keeping Ring General in the US. Speaking to Krone, GUNTHER revealed to the German publication that he is not allowed to leave the United States for the next six months due to current visa regulations.

In theory, this issue should be resolved by April or May, but if it drags on it will be a problem for Bash in Berlin.

That being said, it seems like the Elimination Chamber is up for GUNTHER, as the February event in Australia is taking place outside of the United States. This also explains why GUNTHER was not booked for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this story, as there will likely be a lot more to unpack after all is said and done.

GUNTHER will continue to reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion, but he will only do so in the United States for the next six months.
