The Rock has been involved in many great WWE appearances and even had an NBC show that featured the beginning of his career.

Unfortunately, Young Rock was canceled after his third season, and it’s unlikely that fans will ever get to see the rest of the story. Well, He certainly has a lot of stories to tell himself.

The Rock made his WWE debut at the 1996 Survivor Series. He recalled recently being informed of his victory in a match.

He teamed with Jake Roberts, Marc Mero, and Barry Windham to face Crash, Goldust, Jerry Lawler, and Triple H, emerging as the sole survivor.

While discussing “The Joe Rogan Experience,” The Rock spoke about receiving news of his win from Vince McMahon and shared additional details.

“Vince brings me in and says, ‘You’re gonna win the whole thing tonight.’ I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He goes, ‘You’re gonna win the whole thing.

I’m gonna throw you right into the fire.’ I’ll never forget this. He’s like, ‘You’re either gonna f*cking sink or you’re gonna swim — it’s New York City. It’s up to you.’”

The Rock was also very grateful for everyone in that match. He followed that up to say, “All those guys in the ring that night … I’ll forever be grateful for them because they allowed that to happen.“
