It is indeed a tragedy to the WWE as yet another superstar dropped dead today in his home. This is really a great lost to the company in terms personality. It is a thing to regret of. It is so sad to announce the sudden death of a star like this.

The deceased Jonathan Rechner whose ring name was Balls Mahoney died today after celebrating his 44th birthday few days ago. The news of his death was spread on twitter by Johnny Candido brother of late wrestler Chris Candido.

Wrestlinginc.com reported that Johnny called the deceased wife when he saw ambulance in front of his house. And the wife later told him of his husband’s death so Johnny had to spread the news via Twitter as seen below:

According to PWInsider, Mahoney sustained a hip injury after having a great fall from an unknown circumstance. The injury was fatal. Mahoney was a sociable being; he was friend with Chris Candido.

His last match was on 6th December 2016 which he fought and won. And on one particular encounter, Balls Mahoney had a match against popular WWE Superstar John Cena on RAW

Balls Mahoney is the second ECW Original wrestling has lost this year. His tag team partner, Axl Rotten died in February.
