IYo Sky To Defend WWE Women’s Title Against Asuka

WWE has some exciting things lined up for next week’s episode of SmackDown.

That being said, they have also booked a major women’s title match for SmackDown in two weeks, a match that will see IYO Sky face a very dangerous challenger.

IYO Sky had a match with Asuka this week on SmackDown.

The former women’s champion wants her gold back and the future queen has an encounter in the ring with the genius of heaven.

WWE announced that IYO Sky will defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against Asuka on the September 22 episode of the blue brand.

They will also have time to brag about this match next week.

IYO Sky won the WWE Women’s Title at SummerSlam taking advantage of Bianca Belair. WWE’s EST actually just won that title from Asuka.

So we understand why Asuka wants the title back so badly.

As we reported previously, John Cena was in India for this week’s Superstar Show so he couldn’t make it to SmackDown.

He won’t miss next week’s episode because he will be a guest on Grayson Waller Effect.
