John Laurinaitis Lawyer Claims he’s Just A Victim

John Laurinaitis is WWE’s former head of talent relations who was in the news for his involvement in Vince McMahon’s hush money scandal.

Shortly after, everything came crashing down when he was released from WWE.
He is named in Vince McMahon’s human trafficking lawsuit, and his lawyers are now claiming he is the victim.

As previously reported, Vince McMahon has been accused of sex trafficking and other misconduct by former WWE employee Janelle Grant.

In his lawsuit, Grant accused McMahon of directing other WWE employees, unnamed executives and stars to share explicit content about him and perform sexual acts with them without their consent.

John Laurinaitis was also named in the lawsuit, claiming he also had sex with Janelle Grant.
According to VICE News, John Laurinaitis’ attorney Edward Brennan claimed his client is a victim like Janelle Grant.

In response to a follow-up question asking for clarification on naming Vince McMahon as a predator and Laurinaitis, like Grant, as a victim, Brennan replied: Read the federal law.

“Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media. Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.”

Power, control, employment supervisory authority, and autocratic sexual demands with serious consequences if not met. Count how many times Vince put them under control in the complaint. ”

This lawsuit led to Vince McMahon’s permanent resignation from WWE and TKO. WWE also removed all traces of McMahon after the lawsuit.
