Kevin Owens Mocks ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

As if the constant jabs at Steve Austin’s home state of Texas on Raw weren’t enough, Kevin Owens is now using Twitter to needle ‘Stone Cold’ ahead of their expected WrestleMania 38 match.

So Owens is definitely getting doused in Budweiser soon, then.

While WWE is yet to formally announce anything, it is expected that Austin will end his 19-year hiatus from the ring to face Austin at ‘Mania 38 (2/3 April). This broke last week, when Fightful came through with the scoop, and is supported by KO’s recent Raw direction. Owens can’t go a single backstage segment without hating on Texas at the moment, which gives ‘Stone Cold’ an easy avenue to return.

Owens and tag team partner Seth Rollins will challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championships before then. A Triple Threat will see them face champions Alpha Academy and fellow challengers RKBro (whom they just defeated to earn the shot) on the 7 January episode of Raw.
